Sand Lake County Park (formerly known as Nottawa Park) is a 9-acre park located on 102-acre Sand Lake. The park consists of a boat launch, fishing pier, clean swimming beach, grills, picnic tables, pavilion, new playground area, concession stand, kayak rental, large play area, shaded picnic area, and new modern restrooms. Nearby Sand Lake Party Store. Pavilion available for picnics or you can reserve a spot by the lake for your picnic. Reservations are required to hold. Handicap friendly parking and play equipment. A great place to end the day after kayaking the Prairie River from Prairie Lake to Lake Templene.
